Located in Miyanoshita, Hakone. An accommodation renowned for its artistic interior, music, and creative Japanese cuisine.

Hakone Nanase (formerly Mana-tei Hakone) was established in July 2012 in Miyanoshita, Hakone. This small hotel boasts an in-house art gallery and music, complimentary private open-air hot springs, and creative Japanese cuisine centered on healthy organic vegetables. Miyanoshita is the heart of Hakone, one of Japan's premier tourist destinations, making it very convenient for visiting attractions. All rooms offer river and mountain views. Enjoy the four seasons of Hakone.

  • The best Room I stayed in last time had a bath that was cold in winter, but this time the Room with an open-air bath is the best. Placing a space heater in the washroom makes the bathroom a bit warmer. The meals are also excellent—the rice is delicious. The flavors are pleasantly light as well. I’d love to see a better Bordeaux Médoc wine selection. The service is great, and it would be even better if checkout were at 12:00. This is an Accommodation I want to visit again. I bathed many times, and as before, it helped my sciatica. The water was lukewarm, so I asked for more hot water; it became perfectly hot and was wonderful. Thank you again, and I look forward to returning. I also used the private bath, and it was very good.

  • Even if a Room in an Accommodation in Hakone has an open-air bath, it often isn’t an Onsen, but this Accommodation was wonderful with free-flowing Onsen water. I also visited the large public bath once; it felt a bit lacking without an open-air bath, so if you stay in a Room without one, you’ll probably use it together with the private open-air bath. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right—not too much. I think this is an Accommodation you can be satisfied with in every way.
