I chose this Accommodation for my solo trip after hearing that Kaike Onsen is known for “beautiful skin.” My main purpose was a pilgrimage to locations from the NHK morning drama “Bakebake” (around Matsue City), but I’m glad I extended my trip and stayed here. It was a single Room, but the bed was a spacious double. Since it faced the sea, I could fully enjoy the powerful view of the Sea of Japan. As I booked a one-night stay with breakfast Plan, I can’t comment on dinner, but breakfast offered a good-value and tasty buffet selection. If only the quality of the rice could be improved a little... Overall, the price for this single Room (one night with breakfast) felt like great value. Thank you very much. A few years ago, I stayed here with my mother and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. I wanted to come again, so this time I visited with my daughter. We relaxed and took our time, savoring each dish—even though we were running late—yet you still kindly let us have seconds. Thank you very much. You also carefully packed the items for shipping in a box, which was a big help. We will definitely visit again. I wish I had taken photos—the honey too! I made a Reservation to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. Since the Room was not a suite, it felt moderately spacious and not especially luxurious, but the view was great, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The welcome chocolates were also delicious, and she was very happy. Thank you as well for accommodating our request to add a birthday plate at dinner.

We stayed here during our trip to Okinawa to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The front desk staff were friendly, and the Room was clean—we were very satisfied. The location is within American Village, which made it easy to enjoy the area. We heard that the Chunichi Dragons were holding their training camp at the stadium next door, and we would have loved to see it if the timing had worked out. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Okinawan dishes, and it gave us a great start to the day.

The meals were outstanding. Featuring local Okayama ingredients, everything looked beautiful and tasted amazing. The Room was originally a storehouse, so it can feel a bit enclosed, but it is spacious enough and comfortable. You can make a Reservation for meals and the bath after you arrive, so there’s no waiting. The location also makes it easy to step out for a short walk during your free time, which was great.

The sense of scale of the ocean beyond the windbreak forest right in front of us was incredible. At night, we could see a sky full of stars and even shooting stars from the rooftop. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a Room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The Room was spacious and spotless, and the bathtub was large and comfortable enough for my 183 cm husband to stretch out and soak. The breakfast buffet offered such a wide variety that we couldn’t try everything, and it was all delicious. As expected of Marriott, it was a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again.
