I planned a stay at Hotel Takeshima, a place my grandfather brought me to many times when I was younger, now that I’m employed. We originally planned to drive, but ended up taking the train at short notice; the Shuttle Service from Gamagori Station was smooth and very helpful. Since my grandparents have slowed down a lot when walking, we were able to borrow a wheelchair inside the Hotel and spend the time before check-in comfortably. We had lunch at Tokiwa and were also able to take them to the aquarium. They happily did lots of shopping at the shop, enjoyed plenty of delicious food for both dinner and breakfast, took baths several times, and loved the view from our Room. With all the support from everyone at the Hotel, my grandparents were truly delighted, and it became a trip full of wonderful memories. I hope they stay healthy in both body and mind so we can travel again. Thank you very much to all the staff.

I was happy to enjoy so many dishes that truly felt like spring. The clear soup was especially wonderful, with cherry blossom petals, bamboo shoots, and aonori seaweed. The Gamagori-limited mikan sour was also delicious! The Room was clean. Just one point: These days most people are used to automatic doors, so many guests do not close the bath door tightly. It gets cold. They don’t seem to mind leaving it open, so I think a sign saying “Manual” is needed. We could also enjoy the drinks and rice crackers in the lobby—excellent service. It was an even nicer Hotel than I expected. There is a temple within walking distance, and we were able to see cherry blossoms too, making it a fun trip. Thank you very much.

I was able to relax and spend quality time with my dog for the first time in a while. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. I played the piano, wrote a letter to my future self five years from now, and let my dog play in the dog run—making so many wonderful memories. The meals were also very delicious. I was especially impressed by the salmon roe!! As long as my dog is still healthy and energetic, I definitely want to stay here again and again. Thank you very much.

I made a reservation to celebrate my husband's birthday. It happened to be the day of the fireworks festival. The spacious area was comfortable, and we created unforgettable memories with our family.
