Hotel Route-Inn Court Yamanashi

Traveling from Yokohama to Yamanashi to visit a relative in the hospital. This is my second stay at this Hotel. The parking lot is spacious, and the welcome coffee tasted great. This time I used a twin Room as a single. When I called the front desk because the Wi‑Fi in my Room wouldn’t connect, they quickly brought a router. Excellent service.I also had dinner at Hanachaya. It was nice that ordering white wine came with free snacks—ham and fried cheese. Apparently it was an idea from the bespectacled gentleman at the front desk. The wine was quite good, too. I ordered gyoza and a hamburger steak as snacks; the hamburger steak was very tender and delicious.When it was time for the women-only Onsen slot at 8:00 p.m., I hurried to the Onsen. By the time I left, three women had come in. It doesn’t get crowded, which is great.The free breakfast was flawless! The curry suited my taste perfectly, and I enjoyed the potato salad as well.A Hotel that made me want to come back again.

I made a Reservation because I needed to accompany my mother during her hospital stay. A double Room for one person. I expected it to be old and dirty. I arrived earlier than the 3:00 PM check-in time. There was DOUTOR coffee, so I waited with a cup—and they let me into the Room before 3:00 PM.The Room has been renovated, so it’s clean. The size is decent too. As mentioned in other Reviews, women can use the Onsen only from 8:00 PM for 1 hour and 45 minutes.Compared to men, why is it so short? It felt unfair, and I was irritated!But since I have a Reservation at “Castle Hotel Kofu” tomorrow, I told myself to just put up with it for one night.At 6:00 PM I went to Hanachaya and ordered white wine, French fries, fried cheese, and chilled tofu.Surprisingly, the 500-yen white wine came with a ham snack set—plus even fresh parsley. I was amazed. When I ordered a second glass of white wine, they told me the snack set would come again—so I was amazed twice. Since I don’t eat much and was already full, I said no thanks to the snack set… then they poured wine generously into a larger glass instead.The total bill was 2,000 yen. So cheap! It honestly made me worry their profit margin must be very low.Finally it was 8:00 PM and I rushed to the Onsen—completely private! No one came in, so I could relax on my own. In the courtyard there were beautifully lit bamboo lights that created such a lovely atmosphere...With so few female guests, it makes sense that bath hours are allocated more toward men—I accepted that. There was only one bottle each of cleansing oil and face wash in the changing area; that part was a bit inconvenient but understandable.The next morning’s breakfast buffet: even though it’s free, it was delicious with an impressive variety...At business hotels in my hometown of Yokohama breakfast costs around 3,000 yen—and this easily holds its own compared with that.The male front desk staff member wearing glasses at checkout was also very pleasant; all my initial frustration disappeared and left me feeling refreshed.I’d like to stay again.Thank you for your hospitality.
