The accommodation cost was affordable, so I was honestly a bit worried before using it, but it turned out to be an extremely satisfying stay. The space was ample, and every room was clean, which is why I gave the highest rating. Additionally, there were two baths available, allowing me to enjoy bathing without worrying about time. I rated the customer service and hospitality slightly lower because I forgot to purchase oil and the nearest supermarket is a 30-minute drive away. It would be helpful if the website listed what items are provided in the room (the outdated website also added to my concerns). However, everything else was excellent. I will definitely use this accommodation again!

It was my first time staying here, and the Room was spacious with an ocean view, very clean, and overall excellent. The breakfast buffet had a high standard, and even my picky wife praised it, saying, "You can't replicate the flavor of this porridge." I also appreciated the unlimited sea grapes—a small but delightful touch. The kitchen utensils were well-equipped, allowing us to buy interesting ingredients from local supermarkets and try them out. Although I didn’t use the public bath, the private bathroom in the Room was great. I had no complaints at all and gave everything a 5-star rating!

Stayed here to visit the Churaumi Aquarium. The staff were very welcoming, from storing luggage before check-in, placing luggage in the room beforehand, to their greetings in the morning and evening, as well as at the breakfast venue and shop. The room and bathtub were spacious for the price. Breakfast was excellent with tuna bowls, Okinawan dishes, and freshly baked croissants. There was also a free shuttle bus to Hanasaki Marche where we went for dinner. The highlight was visiting Churaumi Aquarium in the morning, having lunch at Bise Fukugi Tree Road, and then returning in the evening for a Kuroshio exploration tour to view tanks from above. There’s also a kids' corner available for use without hassle, so I’d love to stay here again with my grandchild next time.

Because we arrived late at night, it was pitch-dark outside and felt quite scary, but the inside was spacious, well-equipped with Facilities, and comfortable. There were plenty of blankets provided, so we stayed warm even on a chilly night. Self check-in was also very convenient. The younger child couldn’t sleep on the mattress due to asthma symptoms, but was able to get some sleep on the sofa.

The entire building is stylish from every angle, and my excitement soared the moment we arrived. My favorite spot was the lounge. The second floor is a loft space, and the kids were thrilled, saying, “It’s like a secret hideout!” They happily played there throughout our stay. The food was truly delicious, but what impressed me most was how we could spend time afterward. Even if the kids finished eating early, they could play in the loft right above us, so the adults could keep a relaxed eye on them while enjoying a slow evening with drinks in hand. Being able to unwind and enjoy an evening drink this calmly on a trip with children felt like pure luxury. We used the private open-air bath as a family. Every day, soaking together before dinner to refresh and then enjoying a wonderful meal became our happiest routine. We weren’t very familiar with the area, but the staff kindly recommended shops and Facilities in detail, so we were able to make the most of our day from morning to night. This is an Accommodation I truly recommend—an elegant space where you can have both children’s smiles and genuine relaxation for adults!

The Room was very spacious, and the large windows allowed us to enjoy the lush greenery of Yanbaru! The style of changing into slippers at the Hotel front desk, similar to a Ryokan, made our stay more comfortable. The staff during breakfast were very kind, making our morning pleasant. After visiting the Churaumi Aquarium, I stayed here because the value for money was appealing. The Room was spacious, and the view from the window—lush greenery in the foreground with the sea in the distance—was breathtaking. The Facility felt a bit old, and the faucet worked in reverse: push it down for water and lift it up to stop. I never got used to it no matter how many times I used it, but it was amusing. The Room was thoroughly cleaned throughout, and aside from the faucet, nothing felt dated. The bathtub is shallow but wide, so I could stretch out and relax comfortably. I made my Reservation quite early, and at that time there were no meals available, so I chose No Meals Included; next time I stay here, I’d like to enjoy the meals as well.

I visit Okinawa every year, but this was my first time staying in the Motobu area. Since the Accommodation is limited to one group per day, I was able to spend a relaxing and peaceful time. Everything about the Facilities and Facility was perfect, but due to the location, the TV reception was slightly poor, so I gave it 4 stars. However, it was an excellent stay for me. I would love to stay again and look forward to visiting next time.

A quiet accommodation surrounded by Fukugi trees with the sea right in front. It is within walking distance to Churaumi Aquarium along the seaside, where you can enjoy a morning dolphin show. There are also shops nearby, making it enjoyable to go out for drinks at night.

I stayed for one night on July 6, 2024. The room on the third floor allows access to the rooftop from the balcony, and the starry sky visible from there was breathtakingly beautiful. Stargazing while listening to the sound of the waves was an unforgettable experience. Additionally, the manager was very considerate of the guests. Although not always on-site at the accommodation, I still felt a heartfelt hospitality and was extremely satisfied. I highly recommend this place to those who value a sense of privacy.

You can enjoy local cuisine, and the Room is equipped with a washing machine and kitchen. It is spacious and very convenient. The owners are very kind and lent us various marine sports equipment. The nearby sea is also incredibly attractive!

Stayed for a Multiple Night Stay in Room 102. Usually, the only interaction with the owner is during checkout, but I deliberately visited the office right after check-in to say hello. I got information about dinner and sightseeing for the next day. It seems there are no restaurants open after 6 PM within walking distance, and even in the main area, places can be fully booked, so if you don't want to cook dinner while staying here, it's better to make a reservation at a restaurant in advance. The room is equipped with a Nespresso coffee maker, but since there is only one coffee capsule per person per day, those who drink several cups should bring their own. There is also an Aeroccino, so it's convenient to buy milk at a nearby convenience store. The mini hot plate, washing machine, and gas clothes dryer were very useful. Breakfast is delivered in a paper bag from a partnered delivery store. Unfortunately, the delivery time could not be specified. On the first day, it was a hamburger and corn soup, and on the second day, an Okinawan seaweed roll with luncheon meat and omelet. It was delicious.

My flight was canceled, so I made a Reservation in a hurry. I happened to find this place and was able to stay at a very reasonable rate—and when I opened the door, it was a corner twin (an upgrade?). It truly helped me, and I’m very grateful. The Room had a Western-style design with a white theme, and it made me feel as if I were traveling abroad. Thank you very much.

We stayed as a family of four, including a child who will turn 2 in a week and a 6-year-old (preschooler), with the main plan being to visit the Churaumi Aquarium on the second day. The location was easy to find thanks to clear signage. Since the parking lot is a bit far, we recommend checking in early, leaving your luggage in the room, and then heading out for activities. The room had two large beds, which was one of the reasons we chose this accommodation. The toilet and bathroom were separate, and it was helpful that you could take off your shoes before entering the room. Shampoo, conditioner, and body soap were provided. We rented extra towels for our children at an additional cost. The room was clean and comfortable; however, we had trouble with the shower as it didn’t provide consistent hot water despite operating the water heater switch in the room—it only lasted about 30 seconds at one temperature. Perhaps proper instructions would have helped resolve this issue? For families with long-haired children like ours, bringing your own hair dryer is recommended since the provided one has low airflow strength. Unfortunately, it was cloudy during our stay; otherwise, I believe we could have enjoyed beautiful ocean views from the balcony. The next morning we received bread for breakfast along with portions for our kids as well! However, note that their orange juice has a fizzy or tangy taste more suited for adults. Another reason we chose this accommodation is its excellent location—very close to Churaumi Aquarium! We arrived right when it opened and enjoyed watching whale sharks peacefully from in front of their large tank during quieter morning hours. Overall, considering its proximity to attractions and staying within budget limits made this stay very satisfying—thank you so much!

This was my first stay at Sunset Resort Kanpu, and it exceeded my expectations. The property is located on a hill with an oceanfront view, providing a full tropical experience. The convenience store attached to the property is highly rated. It's just a 3-minute drive to the Churaumi Aquarium. I was initially concerned about the check-in process being at an unmanned front desk, but communication via video call was possible, and they assured me that assistance is available 24/7 by phone if needed. Security is excellent; only guests can enter at night as the lobby doors are locked and require a passcode for entry, which adds peace of mind. The room I stayed in was very clean with a comfortable bed, offering plenty of tropical vibes—a relaxing space that felt like having a vacation home in Okinawa. The view from the window was breathtaking, especially during sunset—it became an unforgettable memory. The kitchen had all necessary dishes for cooking, making long stays convenient for self-catering without any issues. What delighted me were the washing machine and dryer, two bathrooms, and two toilets—everything you could need! Even large families would feel no stress here—this earns high points indeed. As it's a condominium-style property without daily housekeeping services, having well-equipped appliances makes up for it perfectly. For this trip's meals: dinner was eaten out while breakfast came from the convenience store; however there’s also Starbucks within five minutes' walk away along with creative Italian dining two minutes away plus Hawaiian restaurants & several izakayas nearby too! Later I realized Sunset Resort Kanpu offers delivery breakfasts from "Mokulele," famous in Motobu Town (missed opportunity...) featuring French toast or fruit sandwiches delivered right to your room (unfortunately not this time...). Overall Sunset Resort Kanpu proved itself as an amazing place worth revisiting—and one I'd recommend wholeheartedly to friends looking for resorts!
