PENSION Little Wave

Thank you very much for your hospitality. We rented a car from JR Shikoku and stayed at your accommodation in the Izu Peninsula. The host's explanation and warm personality, as well as the open-air bath for two days, were wonderful. It helped us recover from our travel fatigue. We look forward to staying again in the future if we have the chance.

We stayed as a group of four—myself, my son (5th grade), a friend, and my nephew (6th grade)—for surfing. The price was very reasonable, so we went with modest expectations. Upon arrival, although the building was old, it was well-maintained and clean in every corner. The Onsen could be reserved for 40 minutes, which was perfect for warming up after being chilled. There were also outdoor facilities like a water faucet for washing wetsuits and drying poles, which were very convenient. The room had a double bed and a semi-double (simple) bed. Since bringing your own items is allowed, we used tent mats and sleeping bags to comfortably sleep all four of us through the night. The kids enjoyed eating cup noodles using the shared space kettle and had a great time; everyone left with smiles on their faces. Thanks to the owner’s efforts, this is an excellent facility at an unbeatable price point. Guests are encouraged to use the accommodation in ways that do not burden the owner so that this wonderful place can continue creating happy memories for everyone!
