We stayed as a group of 2 adults and 3 children. The room was very clean, and all the amenities were well-prepared without any inconvenience. The view from the room was great, allowing us to enjoy a resort-like atmosphere. At night, we could also see beautiful stars. Thank you very much! If I had to mention one thing, accessing the bunk bed room on the first floor was only possible via an outdoor staircase, which can be a bit cold in winter.

Enjoy a relaxing soak in the jacuzzi while watching the sunset over the ocean, and make the most of the sauna. The Room is clean, equipped with modern kitchen appliances and cooking utensils. Meals, such as shabu-shabu for dinner and hot sandwiches for breakfast, were absolutely delicious. In the evening, we watched two movies in the living room. We had a wonderful time unwinding and enjoying this lovely Room to its fullest. Our family even said, "We want to live here; we’re not going back," which shows just how comfortable our stay was. It’s such an amazing place that it makes us want to try staying in another building next time!

From the moment I parked the car, I could feel the high quality of the hotel. The view from the window upon entering the room was like a "painting," and I was impressed, thinking, "As expected, a first-class hotel is different." I was able to relax at this first-class hotel in every aspect. If I have the chance to come again, I would definitely like to stay here.

We went fishing as an elderly couple and stayed for one night. The view from the Room was amazing, and we could gaze at it forever. The Room's interior and background music were perfect, creating a sense of escape from daily life. For dinner, we enjoyed ethnic cuisine at Sunrise Sea on the first floor, along with delicious appetizers. The Hotel owner was wonderful and treated us with great care, which made us very happy. The only concern was the number of stairs in the Hotel. It became another wonderful memory for us. Thank you very much!

I stayed for two nights in the maisonette suite on the 8th floor. When staying in Okinawa during the summer, I look for accommodations with a washing machine, so I chose this place. I was very pleased because it had a gas dryer, and the washing and drying process finished very quickly. If the schedule aligns, you can also see fighter jets taking off from the nearby Kadena Air Base, and in the evening, you can enjoy a beautiful sunset from the jacuzzi. The kitchen is fully equipped with utensils and plates, so it was perfectly fine to shop at a nearby supermarket and have breakfast and dinner there. (Personally, I recommend buying acai and coffee from Morning Bowls nearby and enjoying them on the terrace in the morning!)

The facility was excellent, but there were issues with missing supplies and lack of management. - Despite being informed in advance that outdoor sandals would not be provided, they were available upon arrival after purchasing and bringing our own. - Water leakage from the air conditioner vent above the living room entrance. - Burnt-out light bulb in the living room floor lamp. - Poor drainage in the 2nd-floor bathroom, making it difficult to drain water smoothly. - No toilet paper or spare rolls in the 2nd-floor toilet. - Malfunctioning massage chair on the 2nd floor. - Complimentary water was stated as 500ml per person + one 2L bottle; however, for a group of four staying two nights, only eight 500ml bottles and one 2L bottle were provided. - No spare paper towels in the kitchen. - Insufficient towels provided overall. - Only a small amount of used olive oil available in the kitchen supplies. Attempts to contact via listed numbers resulted only in being told that confirmation with responsible staff would be needed without immediate answers—likely due to outsourcing management responsibilities—but stricter oversight is necessary as these issues inconvenience guests significantly.

We stayed as a family of three. The spaciousness of the facility was more surprising than we imagined. Since we traveled around various places from Wakkanai, the washing machine was a great help. We prepared dinner with ingredients purchased in Kitami. We used the bath and breakfast services at Kitakobushi. It was nice to spend a quiet weekend. The check-in process was a bit troublesome, and we struggled because the entrance wouldn't open even when we needed to use the restroom. It felt easier to check in at Kitakobushi. We've experienced renting an entire building a few times, but Lantern Shiretoko offered a wonderful space. Thank you for the great experience.

As always, this popular business hotel offers great value for money, and I've used it many times. However, depending on the timing, you might encounter large groups of Asian tourists, and some of them may not have the best manners, making it difficult for individual guests to relax in the rooftop bath or during breakfast.

I found this Accommodation while looking for a Plan without dinner, and I was truly impressed by the staff’s wonderful smiles and thoughtful hospitality. I would love to stay again. Since I don’t drive, I was worried about getting around locally, but the Shuttle Service between Wakura Station and the Accommodation was very helpful.

This was my 4th or 5th stay, and no matter how many times I visit, it’s an Accommodation that always makes me want to come back. The view of Yuya Bay from the Room is the ultimate luxury. The Room was also spotless, and I felt completely at home. At the welcome corner right after arrival, I enjoyed delicious sake while looking out at the sea, and the lobby has a wonderful atmosphere. I had stone-grilled Miran beef and live spiny lobster—both were absolutely outstanding. The presentation was beautiful, every dish was delicious, and I’m impressed by the head chef every time. The Onsen was deeply relaxing with ocean views, and the water felt wonderfully silky-smooth. Above all, the staff’s thoughtful care makes this place truly exceptional. I will definitely be back again.

In 2025, I visited Okinawa four times and stayed at different condo vacation rentals each time. However, my stay at Doka Doka was the best, so I decided to return here for my year-end visit. During this second stay, I noticed various thoughtful touches from the perspective of guests that I hadn't realized during my first visit. It made me feel that this place is the perfect choice for future stays. While many "Instagrammable Rooms" are introduced all over Okinawa, I've often felt they lack consideration for actual guest needs when staying there. This includes kitchen facilities, cooking utensils, bathrooms, or even how doors open and close—small details but noticeable nonetheless. It seems like those managing such facilities may not have actually stayed in their own rooms themselves. On the other hand, it feels like whoever designed this place considered everything from a personal user’s perspective because nothing is lacking here. (The bathroom doesn't have a reheating function for baths; hence my rating of 4 stars in that regard—but it's not something I'd ask to be changed as it’s perfectly fine as is.) It may not be highly "Instagrammable," but it offers more than enough comfort if your goal is to live like a local during your stay. The beautiful Yachimun pottery provided adds an extra touch of joy when preparing meals in the kitchen. The café breakfast experience was also wonderful—staff were very kind and accommodating with generous portions served. The scenery was stunning while the gentle music and atmosphere inside uplifted our morning mood beautifully. I’m already looking forward to visiting again next time! Thank you very much!

It was very beautiful and nice. Drinks were complimentary, and the amenities were plentiful. It was my first time doing self-check-in, so it took a little effort, but I would definitely use it again when I visit Kochi.

Although the area was still in the process of recovering from the disaster, we received warm and thoughtful hospitality. From our Room with a panoramic ocean view, my spouse and I were able to watch the sunrise together. It became a truly memorable trip. We are very glad we chose this Accommodation. We stayed with two dogs. The staff's service before check-in was excellent, allowing for a smooth check-in process. The view from the accommodation was oceanfront, providing a relaxing and soothing experience. We enjoyed island walks, gourmet food, and fishing using the accommodation as our base. It has become a place we definitely want to stay at again.

As a design Hotel, the interior is very stylish. The amenities and Room temperature are just right, and I think it's a good location for sightseeing in the city.

A Villa I had wanted to stay at for years. My husband finally got some time off, and we initially searched around Chiba, but since it was summer vacation, reservations were hard to secure. Expanding our search nationwide, we found availability in Okinawa and decided to stay at a Villa there while visiting family. Upon arrival, the unmanned check-in process was a bit confusing but completed successfully. After placing our luggage in the room and opening the fridge, we were amazed by the amount of welcome drinks! We prepared for a BBQ with items we brought along and headed straight to the pool—it was spacious and absolutely fantastic! The room itself was incredibly large; I found myself running every time I moved around. However, moving between rooms at night required passing through the courtyard, which was challenging for me as someone who dislikes insects. When it got dark, we planned to have a BBQ in the courtyard but ended up grilling outside and eating indoors due to my aversion to bugs. All cooking utensils were provided, which made everything so convenient. I would definitely love to stay here again during future visits home!

The public bath is not very large but provides a relaxing experience with nice scenery. Dinner was creatively prepared, and the dobin-mushi was delicious—the dessert ice cream and compote were so good that I wish they were sold in the lounge as well! Breakfast had plenty of v

I stayed with my brother's family. The Room had two bedrooms and one tatami room, and one of the tatami rooms and bedrooms was a connecting room separated by a door, so we could watch over the children sleeping alone with peace of mind. Additionally, there was a jacuzzi on the terrace, and although we used it on the coldest day in December, the children were having a great time with maximum excitement (laughs). The living room on the second floor was spacious, and even with eight people, it didn't feel cramped, allowing us to have an enjoyable time. Also, it was convenient to have bathrooms and toilets on both the first and second floors. Personally, the most helpful feature was having a washing machine and dryer. The gas dryer, in particular, was very convenient as it allowed us to quickly take care of the children's clothes without taking much time. Basic appliances were provided, but since there were no pajamas, it might be a good idea to bring your own (as indicated on the site). The surroundings were quite empty, and although it was along the road, we were able to spend our time relatively quietly, allowing the adults to relax while the children had a great time playing on the terrace and in the spacious living room. My brother's family also expressed their gratitude, so I was glad we stayed. Since it can accommodate a large group, I would like to use it again if the opportunity arises.

A beautiful accommodation with a white-themed building that contrasts perfectly with the blue of the sky and sea, creating a wonderful atmosphere! The living room has windows that can be fully opened, offering a very spacious and extraordinary experience. The room was also very clean, giving the impression that every corner was thoroughly cleaned. All ingredients were prepared in the refrigerator, and it operates on a self-cooking system. This is highly recommended for those who prefer minimal interaction with staff. A spacious kitchen along with plenty of cooking utensils and cutlery are provided. From the second floor, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the sea; watching the sunset while listening to the sound of waves made for peaceful moments. The nighttime lighting was also stunning! I would definitely love to stay here again!
