The space was very cool, comfortable, and relaxing. We were upgraded to a higher-grade cottage, which was so wonderful that it felt almost too luxurious, making this trip far exceed our expectations. The meals were well-portioned and extremely delicious. Honestly, we would have been even happier if breakfast had been Japanese-style as well. The staff were experienced in handling dogs and interacted with them smoothly. Their neat appearance left a great impression. This is definitely a place that makes us want to stay again!

Honestly, I was surprised by how spacious and clean it was for this price. It’s within walking distance from the station, and there’s also a bus stop right in front, so the location is very convenient. It’s a Hotel I’d like to stay at again.

We stayed in a 10-tatami Japanese-style Room, and it was very spacious and clean. The staff were also very kind, which made our stay pleasant. The meals were delicious and we were very satisfied. Our dog was able to relax and seemed happy as well. Unfortunately it rained, but the Hotel has an indoor dog run, so we felt at ease. We would definitely like to stay again.

Although some time has passed since my stay, I wanted to leave a review because it left such a great impression. First of all, the location was excellent. Even before check-in time, I was able to leave my luggage and visit Bandai City for the first time in a while. After returning to the hotel, I enjoyed dinner and shopping at the station in the evening. The next morning, it was very convenient as the limousine bus stop for Niigata Airport was right nearby. I made this reservation knowing that this used to be part of the Kanpo no Yado chain, and it turned out to be a great choice. Perhaps because I am a member, my room was even upgraded—what a pleasant surprise! The room had been renovated in July and showed thoughtful design details with cleanliness and comfort throughout. Amenities were also well-prepared. I dined outside during my stay but noticed there is a Japanese restaurant inside with an appealing menu—I’d love to try it next time! There’s just one thing that caught my attention: while I easily found the hotel building itself, at first I ended up at its front near a bookstore where there were several steps leading up—a bit inconvenient when carrying heavy suitcases! Later on, I discovered there’s an exclusive entrance on another side of the hotel; perhaps adding an arrow sign pointing towards that entrance would help future guests avoid confusion? I would definitely love to stay here again!

I made a reservation two days before my stay. Staying from Friday to Saturday, even with no meals included, I was satisfied with the price being under 7,000 yen. The antique-style furniture gave a sense of history and elegance, making it a lovely room. Although it was cold and snowing lightly, I strolled through the Japanese garden and found it to be a charming place. Choosing drinks (packs) and amenities was enjoyable and added to the experience. Recently, I've been staying at business hotels often, so staying here was a refreshing change of pace. The front desk staff were very pleasant—thank you!

This was my first time staying at a Hotel with my dog, and I was very satisfied with how dog-friendly it was. The meals were delicious to me, and the Room was clean, so I had a wonderful holiday. If I have any friends going to Lake Yamanaka, I would definitely recommend it. Thank you very much!

The buffet is exceptionally well crafted—everything tastes great, and you can fully enjoy the local specialties like Himokawa udon and Joshu beef. Both kids and adults are sure to be completely satisfied. (No need to wait in line at nearby restaurants.) The complimentary late-night tantanmen is simply outstanding. There is only one elevator to the upper floors, so it can take some time during peak hours for the baths or meals, which felt a bit inconvenient. Although it seems a little far from Yubatake because it’s on higher ground, there’s a hidden shortcut that gives direct access from the lively Sainokawara Street to Yubatake, which is very convenient. If I stay again next time, I will definitely choose this place, and I’d recommend it to everyone.

In many ways, an easy-to-use Hotel.

This is our third visit. Both the kids and the adults love it. It’s rare for our family to stay at the same Hotel three times, which shows how much we like it. The pool is spacious, with plenty of sun loungers and many staff by the poolside, so even though we never take our eyes off the children, we feel very safe. It’s also a great bonus that you can reach the beach right next door in just a few seconds on foot. We’ll be back again in September.

The restaurant on the top floor offers a stunning view of Peace Park, making it an excellent location. Breakfast features a wide variety of local dishes, which I thoroughly enjoyed. The tofu, oyster miso, "gansu," and lemon jelly were particularly delicious. The staff were kind and guided me to a seat with an even better view during breakfast. The Room was quiet and comfortable. It was my first time in Hiroshima and my first solo trip in about 25 years, leaving me with wonderful memories.

The meals were delicious, and the bath was great. Above all, the Room was spacious and relaxing.\nThank you very much.

This was our second stay at Kamenoi Hotel Izu Kogen, and once again we stayed in the Premium Terrace Twin Room with an open-air bath, just like last time. The drink corner had an expanded selection, including alcoholic beverages that weren’t available before, along with cheesecake and nuts, which we really enjoyed.

I stayed here on a trip with my son, and it was truly wonderful! The reasons we chose this Hotel were: 1) The buffet 2) The baths 3) Renovation in 12/2025 4) Great value for the price There are many Hotels and Ryokan to choose from, but the selection of Kumamoto local cuisine here was excellent—and everything was delicious. They even had basashi (horse sashimi), basashi nigiri, tender Akaushi beef skewers, and tasty yamame (mountain trout) skewers. You can eat your fill with dishes like dago-jiru dumpling soup, Akaushi beef hayashi rice, simmered horse offal, and meals made with local vegetables. There were also tempura, sashimi, seafood rice bowls, soba noodles, and more. The desserts were also impressive—there were lots of strawberry sweets in season—and the quality was high. All-you-can-drink alcohol is available for an additional fee. I usually drink, but this time I skipped it because I didn’t want to miss out on the food—and I didn’t regret it at all. I’ve had buffets at many Hotels before, and this one ranks among the very best. I was so full that I couldn’t try the limited-time late-night tantanmen service, which was a shame. Breakfast was just as satisfying—I was completely stuffed from the morning. Personally, I loved the Akaushi beef bowl! At the live kitchen they sear thinly sliced roast-beef-style Akaushi beef for you. It was so tender that I went back for seconds. There are also two types of Kumamoto ramen, seafood rice bowls, Akaushi beef curry, takana rice… honestly there’s far too much to finish. So frustrating (in a good way). The Aso milk pudding, yogurt, and milk were delicious as well. Of course they also offer standard breakfast items (grilled fish, natto fermented soybeans، soft-boiled eggs، seasoned nori seaweed، miso soup، several kinds of bread، cereal، muffins، etc.). What surprised me in the bath area: the shower heads were ReFa brand—and even the hair dryers were ReFa! I’ve rarely seen a Hotel equipped entirely with ReFa products. Maybe Kamenoi Hotels do this? The Facilities felt as clean and well-appointed as an exclusive membership resort. There is also a sauna area; dry sauna and mist sauna are available on a rotating basis. Since it’s after renovation，the building is very clean，and overall it was so good that I can’t fit everything into one Review. It offers excellent value，with beautiful Aso views—highly recommended! I’m glad we didn’t choose one of those expensive Accommodations around nearby Kurokawa Onsen instead. This is a Hotel that makes me want to come back again. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Inspired by the spring cherry blossoms, we planned our route to combine sightseeing with a “pilgrimage” to locations related to the Taiga drama “Hideyoshi Brothers,” including its exhibition hall. We stayed one night in Nara City after visiting Kofuku-ji and Todai-ji. The next day, we headed from Nara and the ruins of Yamato-Koriyama Castle to Shiga via the drama exhibition hall. After sightseeing at Hyakusaiji Temple, Tennei-ji Temple, and Hikone Castle’s Castle Road, we arrived at Kamenoi Hotel Hikone. We had requested dinner for 19:15 in advance. Since we arrived around 17:00, we were able to unpack first and then relax in the Onsen before dinner. There was a dinner menu at our table, and starting with the main Omi beef sukiyaki, many Shiga-produced ingredients and seasonings were used throughout. We truly felt the Hotel’s sincere commitment to “local production for local consumption.” The meal was essentially kaiseki-style cuisine, and my wife praised it as “very delicious.” I completely agreed. There was also a menu at breakfast, and the Hotel’s commitment to local sourcing never wavered—both of us were extremely satisfied with the flavors. My wife turned in early, so I enjoyed the late-night ramen on my own; the black tantan noodles were also excellent. This was our first stay at a Kamenoi Hotel—after previously making a Reservation in Beppu but being unable to stay due to illness—and it turned out to be a wonderful experience where we could feel just a touch of Kumahachi Aburaya’s spirit. The following day brought strong winds and boats from nearby Hikone Port to Chikubu Island were canceled; however, we still managed an enriching trip that covered everything from Nagahama Kita-Omi Taiga Drama Exhibition Hall to Daitsuu-ji Temple, Nagahama Castle Historical Museum, and Gi-to-Kizuna-kan (Righteousness & Bonds Museum). As a base on Lake Biwa’s eastern shore area (Koto), Kamenoi Hotel is wholeheartedly recommended.

This was my first time staying at this Hotel, and the room was clean. There is a convenience store and a gym, which is very convenient. Breakfast was delicious in a nice dining area. I will stay here again when I visit Hirosaki.

This was my first time staying here. I was glad the Agara Lounge was open, but I would be even happier if it were truly all-inclusive, with drinks available during meals as well. The sashimi at dinner—especially the Katsuura tuna—was all fresh and delicious. The bath water quality was excellent, with a pleasantly silky Onsen feel.

It was very convenient, close to Matsumoto Station and Matsumoto Castle, with a tram stop and a convenience store right next door.\nI also had a comfortable stay throughout.

Whenever I visit Utsunomiya, I stay at this Hotel. Thank you as always. Not only the front desk staff, but also the parking staff are all very polite and kind, which makes my stay very pleasant.

The food was delicious. We were traveling with our 2-year-old child, and we really appreciated the staff’s thoughtful care. The drink bar on the first floor was also great. Our child kept asking for more orange juice, and we were happy to be able to refill it several times. The late-night ramen was also very tasty. My wife said she’d like to come again, so we’d love to stay here again when we visit Iwate.

Perhaps it was thanks to my continued efforts—such as accompanying my husband on his business trips—to remain a Diamond member. I often see Reviews saying, “They upgraded our Room,” but this time they prepared an unbelievable Room for us, and I was moved throughout the entire stay. The view from the Room was simply spectacular: by day, a sweeping ocean view complemented by the greens of the golf course; by night, a sky full of stars and scenery so captivating I never tired of it—I was truly amazed. In the end, we only went between our Room, Tsukuyomi, the dining venues, and the lounge (just to see all the staff’s smiles), yet we still felt we fully enjoyed Seagaia. We’ve only just returned home, but we’re already looking forward to visiting again. Thank you for such wonderful memories.
