I had visited for lunch before and had always wanted to stay someday. I’d heard the views of the Kanmon Strait were wonderful, so I chose the Premier Strait Deluxe Twin—and it was absolutely the right choice! I enjoyed the view from the window late into the night and again in the morning. The staff were very attentive, and the breakfast buffet was fun with plenty of local flavors. The lounge also offered a truly relaxing, special experience as I enjoyed the view from the top floor. When I visit Kitakyushu again, I’d love to stay in a different Room type as well.

I booked this stay through IKYU with confidence, and it did not disappoint. The Room with an open-air bath was wonderful. The Room was so clean that I could tell the housekeeping was very thorough. The meals were also delicious. The staff were attentive without being overbearing, so I could relax and was very satisfied.

As expected, Dormy Inn is the best. The Room was clean and easy to use, and the staff were very pleasant and helpful. The amenities are minimal but thoughtfully prepared so you can use what you need where you need it, which I really appreciated. The bath was more spacious than I expected, and the water quality was excellent—I felt truly relaxed. If I had to mention one thing, I would have liked more outside air in the open-air side bath. One of the best parts of an open-air or semi-open-air bath is keeping your head cool while your body stays warm in the water. That said, they had fans running and clearly put a lot of thought into it—very impressive. I will definitely stay again. Additional note: At check-in, some overseas guests were speaking very loudly in the lobby, and I couldn’t hear what the front desk staff were saying… This isn’t something caused by the Hotel, but it was honestly very unpleasant.

It was my first time staying here, and the Room was spacious with an ocean view, very clean, and overall excellent. The breakfast buffet had a high standard, and even my picky wife praised it, saying, "You can't replicate the flavor of this porridge." I also appreciated the unlimited sea grapes—a small but delightful touch. The kitchen utensils were well-equipped, allowing us to buy interesting ingredients from local supermarkets and try them out. Although I didn’t use the public bath, the private bathroom in the Room was great. I had no complaints at all and gave everything a 5-star rating!

The breakfast was very delicious, and I was satisfied. Although the convenience store is a bit far, you can take care of drinks and meals within the property, and both in the morning and evening, the tea and coffee machines in the lobby were available. The refrigerator had nicely sweet treats and water as well, which was thoughtful. The Room felt a bit dry, so I borrowed a humidifier. If left on overnight it was a little noisy, so I would appreciate it if this could be considered if possible. It was also possible to change the size of the loungewear upon request, but there was no notice anywhere, so I ended up looking around for it.

The furniture and room ambiance are all stylish, and the staff are friendly, making this an accommodation I would love to visit again. Although the shabu-shabu stove stopped working during dinner, they promptly brought a new one when contacted, which was very reassuring. Their reliable handling of issues is one of the reasons I want to return. Unfortunately, the weather wasn't great this time, so I hope to visit again on a sunny day.

We enjoyed an extraordinary getaway to the fullest, watching the sun set into the sea from our Room and gazing at the starry sky while soaking in the in-room Onsen. We visited on a three-generation family trip. On the day, strong winds caused the ferry from Shikoku to be canceled. Because we were traveling from far away, the Hotel called to inform us, which we really appreciated. Fortunately, we had planned to come via a port on the Honshu side, so we arrived safely, but their thoughtfulness made us happy. We had two Japanese-style Rooms next to each other. They were typical Japanese-style Rooms and you could feel their age, but they were very clean and well maintained. The view from the Room window was spectacular. When we woke up early, we could also see the sunrise and start the day feeling refreshed. Dinner was served at table seating in a large banquet hall. It was luxurious with local ingredients, and we were completely full. The staff member serving us chatted with us about various things, which was enjoyable. For the sea bream rice cooked in a pot that we couldn’t finish, they kindly made it into rice balls so we could have it as a late-night snack. It was very delicious even when cold. We caused extra work for them, but we were truly grateful. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying. The large public bath also had an amazing view. The washing area was spacious and there was no waiting at all. It was thoroughly cleaned as well, which pleased us. In the early morning bath time, surprisingly many guests were already up early too, and it felt open and relaxing—a wonderful bath. I don’t think the building itself is new, but because everything was kept so clean it was very comfortable and pleasant to stay here. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. There were many smiles among the staff and they greeted us properly—it’s a Hotel where you can really feel how good their hospitality is.

We stayed here to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday. Thank you for the card and other thoughtful touches—she was truly delighted. Our Room was on the 17th floor, and we enjoyed a wonderful view of the Yodo River, Mt. Rokko, and Awaji Island through the large windows. The breakfast we had been looking forward to was outstanding. The garden was beautiful, and the lobby lounge was lovely as well. Next time, I’d like to visit alone and relax at my own pace. Thank you very much.

My family and I stayed at Cassiopeia. This time we booked No Meals Included, but honestly, in winter it would have been better to include meals. The roads are dark at night, and with icy conditions it was quite difficult to go out for dinner. The villa itself is wonderful and very comfortable, and with the clear air, quiet surroundings, and beautiful sunsets and sunrises, it truly feels like a place to relax and take things slow. Next time I’d definitely like to book with meals included so we can unwind at the villa in the evenings. For anyone visiting in winter, I highly recommend having your meals at the villa!

I made a Reservation as a gift for my daughter and her husband. They were delighted and said it was the best Ryokan they have ever stayed at. The sukiyaki was also very delicious. They were especially moved by the proprietress’s greeting and how everyone saw them off, waving until the car was out of sight. We look forward to visiting again next year. It also made me want to stay here myself on a solo trip.

The Onsen, cuisine, service, interior design, and selection of items were all thoughtfully considered and refined. Additionally, the view from the room was exceptional due to favorable weather, offering stunning sights of the sunset, night view, and sunrise that we couldn't take our eyes off. It was an outstanding accommodation that exceeded expectations in every way.

The indoor bath was very clean, and the lakeside open-air bath had a wonderful view—I thoroughly enjoyed it for the first time in a while. The staff were also excellent, and it made me want to stay at Bokoro again. I look forward to visiting again next time.
