I made a Reservation because I was drawn to the rare location of a Hotel set deep in the Yanbaru forest, and I was truly amazed by the extraordinary atmosphere—it hardly felt like Japan. On the day of our stay, we arrived much later than our dinner Reservation time due to traffic and caused inconvenience, but we were warmly welcomed with a welcome drink. When we entered the Room, we were surprised at how impeccably clean it was, and even the amenities and fixtures looked almost unused. The toiletries were luxurious—Guerlain for shampoo and other bath items, Mikimoto for skincare—and the hair dryer was a ReFa. They also had everything you could hope for when traveling with children: a child toilet seat and step stool, as well as a diaper pail and diaper bags. We really appreciated it. Not only was the selection excellent, but the staff’s service—polite yet never stiff—was truly comfortable. We stayed here for sightseeing in Okinawa, but this Hotel stay became our best memory.

Not only was the Room wonderful, but the host was truly kind. Even though I contacted them just two days in advance to plan a surprise celebration for my companion, they prepared a message plate and even decorated the Room for us. I’d love to stay again.

It would be no exaggeration to say that this stay was the best among all the Hotels I have ever stayed at. Above all, the cuisine was truly outstanding—an experience that felt like “heaven.” The variety of dishes was impressive, and each ingredient freshly sourced from Amakusa was carefully and deliciously prepared. I was moved throughout the entire meal. When serving each dish, the staff also shared stories about the ingredients and wine, which made it especially enjoyable—not just eating, but appreciating the background as well. Everything was delicious, but what stood out most were the sushi with Amakusa kuruma prawns and Amakusa ishigaki sea bream, and the steak made with Amakusa black beef loin. Each dish brought out the best of its ingredients, and in particular, the steak had such concentrated flavor that it became an unforgettable plate. At breakfast, both “Kumasan no Kagayaki” rice and Tamango egg-over-rice were also incredibly delicious—I was impressed from first thing in the morning. The service was excellent as well. The staff’s warm and attentive hospitality left a strong impression. Everyone—including those in the kitchen—greeted us pleasantly, and thoughtful care could be felt everywhere. The Room was a villa type with each unit separate, so we hardly encountered other guests at all. We were able to relax in a private space at our own pace. From welcome drinks to checkout, every moment felt special—it was a truly fulfilling stay. This is a wonderful Accommodation that I would love to visit again.

The food was exceptional, with every dish being incredibly delicious and thoughtfully prepared. The Room was also lovely. Coincidentally, there were no other guests during our stay, so we had the place to ourselves, which made it quiet and enjoyable. This time of year might be a hidden gem!

We stayed here on the final day of a 3-night, 4-day long-distance road trip from Fukuoka through Hiroshima, Shimane, and Yamaguchi. From the moment we arrived, the staff’s thoughtful, guest-focused hospitality made us feel warmly welcomed and truly comfortable. The Room we were shown was very spacious, and everything—from the bed to each amenity—was high quality, leaving us extremely satisfied. That day, the view from the balcony was breathtaking, and soaking in the open-air bath while looking at cherry blossoms in full bloom soothed our fatigue from the long drive. This was my second stay. Upon arrival, I was welcomed with tea and sweets, along with a delightful chat with the proprietress. And the view of the Pacific Ocean from the spacious Room... so soothing. Our family of five plus one dog stayed here. From the moment we arrived and opened the Accommodation door, our family couldn’t stop exclaiming in amazement! The indoor setting and amenities, the BBQ area, thoughtfully designed bedrooms based on a clear concept, a huge garden with a pool and sauna, a giant trampoline and well-equipped playground gear, electric scooters and a tandem bicycle—honestly, one night wasn’t enough. There was more than we could possibly finish: craft beer, cup noodles, snacks, coffee and tea bags, plenty of mineral water—everything was perfectly prepared with guests in mind. Next time, we’d love to come back during pool season with relatives and friends. It turned into the best family trip!

We stayed here for a family trip to celebrate a 60th birthday. Before our stay, we consulted with the concierge about arranging an on-site chef for dinner and breakfast, as well as a celebratory cake, among other details.\nThanks to their support, we felt reassured even before arriving. The commemorative drone photography and well-equipped sauna facilities also made this a truly enjoyable trip.

I look forward to visiting a different Accommodation once a month. Sansui was my first visit in October of the year of the earthquake disaster. The owner’s creative cuisine—wonderful to look at and even better to eat—the warm personality of the proprietress, and the beautiful view of Lake Kanna from the Room (I was surprised how low the water level was) made me a huge fan. The menu changes every month, so it’s enjoyable no matter what season you visit. The mixed rice for dinner and the white rice cooked in an earthenware pot for breakfast are so delicious that I always end up eating more than usual. I was also surprised to learn that the staff member we always enjoy chatting with is your younger sister! (Even though we’ve visited about 20 times.) It truly feels like we’re visiting relatives. It isn’t an Onsen, but with a lovely private bath and a warming hydrogen bath, plus beautiful scenery and delicious meals, this is an Accommodation I can confidently recommend.

Although the building was old, it was kept very clean, so we had a comfortable stay. After enjoying sightseeing at Amanohashidate, we took a bath and enjoyed delicious crab dishes until we were full—very satisfying. We also appreciated the Ryokan owner’s perfectly balanced hospitality—attentive without being intrusive. Next time, we will visit again with our daughter who loves crab.

This was the first Hotel where we could enjoy sunrise, sunset, and the night view over the peninsula from our Room. On top of that, the staff’s thoughtfulness was reflected in everything—the spotless cleanliness of the Room, the variety and arrangement of amenities, and even the selection of drinks in the refrigerator. It was simply outstanding. Communicating with the staff and manager was truly comforting, and they were so considerate with the Shuttle Service that we almost felt bad. Even a small comment would be met with “How about this?” as they did everything possible beyond any manual—so much so that we felt we shouldn’t casually mention anything. When we told them it was to celebrate our daughter’s graduation and new job, they created unforgettable memories for us with a handmade bouquet and a champagne toast. Our daughter kept saying to both the staff—and even on our flight home—that she would work hard and definitely come back again. It seems this Accommodation has become a goal for her. There is still so much more I can’t fit here, but among all the Hotels we have stayed at, this became our very best Accommodation. It was a warm place where you could truly feel everyone working together to think about how to make guests happy. Thank you very much. We will be back again.
